The South Dakota Farmers Union, in cooperation with the South Dakota Farmers Union Foundation, takes pride in announcing the availability of scholarships to applicants whose parents are members of South Dakota Farmers Union.
Eligible youth include high school seniors who will be freshmen at a post-secondary institution of higher learning and those currently in their freshman year of school at the post-secondary level. Preference will be given to high school seniors in awarding the scholarships. Applicants MUST attend, or plan to attend, an in-state post-secondary college, university or technical school in order to apply for a scholarship. There will be three scholarships in the amount of $1,500 ($500 each) awarded to eligible young people for the year 2013.
