South Dakota Farmers Union Legislative Day at the state Capitol in Pierre will be held Tuesday, Jan. 24.
The group will meet at 9:45 a.m. at the South Dakota Education Association (SDEA) building across the street to the west of the Capitol building (411 East Capitol).
At 10:00 a.m. the group will walk to the Capitol and attend legislative hearings. A free lunch will be provided from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the SDEA building. Several legislators will be present to talk about issues, and legislative awards will be given to two outstanding lawmakers for the last legislative session.
