it is very easy to lie about your age, where
your from, or even your name. Chat rooms can
be fun and interactive but they can also
lead to danger if you are not careful. Here
are some helpful tips on how to stay safe

Don't give away your name, school,
or your address.
2. Don't get
together with someone you meet in a chat
room. If you must meet in a public place
bring along some friends or an adult.
3. Don't reveal
your actual location or when and where you
plan to hang out.
4. When
choosing a nick name, try not to chose
anything that gives away if you are a boy or
girl.
5. If someone
says or does something creepy-BLOCK
them and DON'T
