Farmers Union County Councilors to Meet Today

Dozens of Farmers Union leaders from across the state will gather in Huron at the South Dakota Farmers Union state office for the annual County Councilors meeting today.
The County Councilors are made up of county Farmers Union presidents and other leaders who will look at revisions to the organization's policy program for 2012. The policy program is the statement the organization makes on a wide range of agricultural, economic, social and other issues.
Gail Temple, of Clark County Farmers Union, is president of County Councilors. Sandee Gittings, of Haakon County, is the secretary, and Tyler Gerlach, of Aurora County, is the vice president.
