At the 92nd Annual Convention 71
delegates from around the state of South
Dakota voted on candidates for the upcoming
years President and Vice President.
The election took place on Saturday
February 10th at 2:00 with the
announcements of nominees. Delegates were then
allowed to vote one district at a time. After
all districts had voted the delegates and
guests went into breakout sessions.
After the sessions concluded, Jason Madsen,
SDFU’s Secretary/Treasurer announced that at
Doug Sombke would remain President and Larry
Birgen would continue to be Vice-President.
